Kids! Want to share your Thanks this Thanksgiving Season?

Ideas from our Caring Kids at St. Johns Church! Collect coins from your family ​ + ask if you can put a can in a local shop + sell a craft you made or toys + put a can on your thanksgiving table and ask people to donate to Help the Kids to go to School!

Guatemala Aid Fund had a wonderful time with our Caring Kids Club Members at St. Johns Church In Arlington! We talked about the beauty of Guatemala, the volcanoes, the first chocolate ever made, the stunning colorful textiles, and the wonderful kids just like them that live there. We talked about how while we don't always like to go to school, that we would be very sad if we were not able to go at all. We would miss our friends, and we would not be able to learn to read or write and then we would also have a hard time finding a job when we grow up. And we might not be able to support ourselves. They heard that school is not always available to kids in Guatemala and they wanted to help by raising money to help children have the opportunity they have... to go to School.  And WOW!  They got started right away, decorating donation cans and sharing what they had learned with everyone around. They shared why they thought it was important to support fundraising for kids like them in Guatemala and they came up with great ideas on how they could raise money and share their Thankfulness.

Many children in Guatemala do not have the chance to go to school ever. Thank you for helping them have that chance! Learn More Thank you for helping us buy school supplies!
